Sunjsong Partners with IPC to Lead Global SMT Smart Manufacturing Standards
Sunjsong Partners with IPC International Association to Lead the Global Layout of SMT Smart Manufacturing Standards
As Industry 4.0 matures, the global manufacturing sector faces a critical turning point in the standardization of communication protocols. Sunjsong is proud to announce its deep collaboration with the IPC International Association, marked by the recent successful hosting of IPC professional courses. This initiative aims to assist the industry in shifting from traditional hardware-centric thinking to a data-driven smart manufacturing ecosystem.
The event focused on the practical application of two pivotal standards: IPC-HERMES-9852 and IPC-CFX-2591, attracting numerous industry leaders and technical experts.

Empowering Global Manufacturing: Defining New Standards for Smart Production
During the sessions, Sunjsong's technical team provided an in-depth analysis of how IPC-HERMES-9852 supersedes the traditional electrical SMEMA interface. Leveraging TCP/IP protocols, The Hermes Standard resolves the limitations of legacy signals by enabling the transfer of comprehensive board data (such as Board IDs, barcodes, and dimensions), thereby realizing true intelligent Machine-to-Machine (M2M) communication and seamless handover.
Furthermore, addressing the need for vertical factory integration, the course covered the application of IPC-CFX (Connected Factory Exchange). Utilizing a standardized messaging channel (AMQP v1.0) and JSON encoding, CFX facilitates "Plug and Play" data exchange from endpoints to MES/ERP systems, effectively dismantling information silos between equipment from different vendors.
